Who We Are
Guy Megides Studio is a fresh textile design studio creating colorful and optimistic products for the home and everyday life. Every new product is designed and tested by hand, each color chosen with care and curiosity, as we constantly search for fresh ideas and new ways to use materials.
Our collections are crafted from high-quality, unconventional materials, such as the printed polyester mesh that has become our signature fabric, combining transparency, lightness, and durability. We see color as a way of experiencing and shaping the world; vibrant yet gentle, thoughtful yet spontaneous.
Founded in 2024 by textile designer and illustrator Guy Megides, the studio explores the relationship between color, shape, and repetition. Since launching, we’ve participated in Fresh Paint Art Fair 2025, and continue to develop collections that blend design, art, and everyday functionality. Our products are also available at the Tel Aviv Museum of Art shop, among other selected design stores.
Guy Megides
Guy Megides is a textile designer, illustrator, and maker with years of experience creating custom illustrations, fashion prints, and textile-based art.
She studied Textile Design at Shenkar College of Arts and later co-founded Studio KipKop with artist Tamar Yogev, where they worked on large-scale projects, from monumental murals in Tel Aviv to immersive exhibitions and installations at the Imperial Hotel.
After years of designing for clients and brands, Guy began building her own label, a place to turn her signature prints into joyful, tactile objects that blend transparency, bold color, and everyday functionality.
Her first mesh basket collection debuted at Fresh Paint 2024, marking the start of a growing line of multifunctional home goods rooted in craft, curiosity, and a rich background in textile practice. More playful pieces are already in development.
Geffen Layhani works alongside Guy as a Creative and management consultant, bringing a curatorial eye and creative direction to each collection and event. Together, they share a passion for creating beautiful, thoughtful, and optimistic objects that brighten daily life.
