These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the website www.guymegides.com (the “Website”) and the purchase of products and services offered by Guy Megides Studio (“we”, “us”, “our”).
By accessing or using the Website, you (“you”, “the user”, “the customer”) agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy.

The Website is owned and operated by Guy Megides Studio, registration no. 305444192, with registered address at Ha'avoda 26 Tel Aviv, Israel (“the Studio”).

The Studio creates and sells artworks, textile pieces, objects for the home, and related design items, including original pieces and custom-made / commissioned works (together, the “Products”).

The Website provides information about the Studio, its work, collections, exhibitions, and allows users to browse Products, place orders, request custom commissions, join a mailing list and contact us.

2. Acceptance of Terms & Eligibility

By browsing the Website, placing an order, filling a contact form, or joining our mailing list, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

You may use the Website only if you are at least 18 years old, or using it with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian, and have legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under applicable law.

4. Products & Descriptions

We make reasonable efforts to present accurate images, colors, sizes and descriptions of our Products. However, slight variations may occur, especially with handmade items, natural materials and unique artworks.

Colors on screen may differ from physical items due to monitor settings, lighting and photography.
Small differences in texture, pattern or tone are part of the nature of handmade work and do not constitute a defect.

4.3
Availability of Products may change at any time. Some items are one-of-a-kind and available in a single piece only. If a Product becomes unavailable after you place an order, we will contact you and offer an alternative, made-to-order option (if possible) or a refund.

5. Orders & Checkout

5.1
To place an order, you must:

  • Select one or more Products.

  • Add them to your cart.

  • Complete the checkout form with accurate billing, shipping and contact details.

  • Complete payment via one of the accepted payment methods.

5.2
By clicking “Place Order” / “Checkout”, you confirm that:

  • All information provided is correct, complete and up to date.

  • You are authorized to use the selected payment method.

Your order is considered an offer to purchase. We may accept or decline this offer at our discretion. The order is confirmed only after you receive an order confirmation email from us.

If there is an error in pricing, availability, or product information, we reserve the right to cancel the order (before shipping), in which case you will receive a full refund.

6. Prices, Currency & Taxes

8. Shipping & Delivery

Guy Megides Studio ships artworks and products purchased through the Website to the address in Israel provided by the customer at checkout. Orders are shipped only after full payment has been received.

8.1 Processing Time

Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days from the moment payment is confirmed.
Business days do not include Fridays, Saturdays, holidays, or public rest days.

8.2 Delivery Time

Delivery times depend on the courier service and the destination.
Most orders arrive within 1–6 business days from the processing date.
Remote areas may experience slightly longer delivery times, depending on courier availability.

8.3 Shipping Fees

Shipping fees are charged at checkout using the same payment method used to complete the order.
Free home delivery is available for orders over 500₪, unless stated otherwise.

8.4 Home Delivery

Courier home delivery is available across Israel.
Your order will be delivered to the address provided during checkout.
Please make sure that all shipping details are correct and complete.

8.5 Pickup (if applicable)

If a pickup option is available for a specific item, it will be mentioned on the product page.
You will be contacted once your order is ready for collection.

8.6 Fragile & Artwork Handling

Some original artworks or delicate items may require special packaging or handling.
If applicable, we will contact you after the order is placed to coordinate delivery details.

8.7 Delays & Force Majeure

We do our very best to ensure your order arrives on time.
However, some situations may cause unexpected delays, such as:

• Incorrect or incomplete shipping information
• Courier delays or logistical issues
• Strikes, holidays, weather conditions, or operational disruptions
• Security situations or other force majeure events
• Circumstances beyond our reasonable control

In such cases, delivery times may shift.

9. Returns, Exchanges & Cancellations

9.1 – General
We want you to be happy with your purchase. If you have any issues with your order, please contact us at GuyMegides@gmail.com within 1-14 days of receiving the item.

9.2 – Eligibility for Return / Exchange
A Product may be eligible for return or exchange if:

  • It is not a custom-made / commissioned item.

  • It is unused, in original condition.

  • You contact us within the specified time frame.

Certain items cannot be returned, including:

  • Custom-made / commissioned artworks.

  • Personalized pieces.

  • Items marked as “final sale” or “non-returnable”.

9.3 – Process
To request a return or exchange:

  2. We will confirm whether the item is eligible and provide return instructions.

  3. Unless the item is faulty or we made a mistake, return shipping costs are your responsibility.

9.4 – Refunds
Where a refund is approved:

  • The refund will be issued to the original payment method.

  • Shipping costs are non-refundable (unless the item was faulty or incorrectly supplied).

  • We may deduct reasonable handling or restocking fees if applicable, according to the law.

9.5 – Damaged or Faulty Items
If your order arrives damaged or faulty:

  • After review, we may offer a repair, replacement, or refund at our discretion, in accordance with applicable law.

10. Custom & Commissioned Work

10.1
For custom artworks, textile pieces, or commissions, we may require:

  • A non-refundable deposit of 50% to begin the work.

  • Remaining payment upon completion, before shipping or delivery.

10.2
We will usually share sketches, references, or progress images during the process (as agreed), but artistic decisions, style, and interpretation remain at the sole discretion of the artist.

10.3
Because custom work is made specifically for you, no returns, exchanges or refunds are available for commissioned pieces, except where required by law or in cases of clear defect.

11. Intellectual Property

11.1
All content on the Website, including artworks, images, photographs, text, graphics, logos, designs, layout, and code, is the intellectual property of Guy Megides or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other laws.

11.2
You may not copy, reproduce, publish, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, or exploit any content from the Website without our prior written permission.

11.3
Purchasing an artwork does not transfer copyright. The artist retains all rights, including the right to reproduce images of the work for portfolios, publications, exhibitions, and promotion, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

12. User Content & Social Media

If you share content with us (e.g. photos of your home with our art, reviews, social media tags such as @Guymegides , you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, repost, and share that content on our Website, social media, and marketing materials, with credit where reasonable.

You confirm that you have the right to share such content and that it does not infringe any third-party rights.

13. Privacy
